The Double Saddle Butterfly Fish is white with thin vertical lines and two dark bands on the body. The posterior part of the body and the dorsal, anal and caudal fins are yellow. There is a black bar through the eye and a black spot on the caudal peduncle. They should should be feed a diet rich in meaty protein items. They are often started on live brine shrimp but should be switched as soon as possible since brine shrimp is nutritionally poor. Their usual diets include mysis shrimp, clams, krill, bloodworms, commercially prepared foods, and plankton. Sensitive to water quality.
