This goby is sometimes said to “buzz” around the tank giving it its name. Bumblebee Goby will often create its own burrow in the sand – sometimes these burrows are shared in a symbiotic relationship with the Pistol Shrimp.

The Bumblebee Goby requires a diet rich in small, live foods such as tubifex worms, bloodworms, brine shrimp and daphnia.

The Bumblebee Goby is a small, relatively peaceful fish that does not tolerate intrusion into its territory. It features a long thin body that is red and white with yellow stripes.
