Banded Sleeper Gobies feed on small crustaceans in the substrate as well as filamentous algae. It should be offered a variety of foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and prepared foods for herbivores. Some will sift sand through their gills to trap small substrate dwelling invertebrates.
It should be fed three times per day, depending on the amount of natural live food found within the aquarium.
The Banded Sleeper Goby is also known as Sleeper Banded Goby, Brownbarred Goby, and Bullet Goby. It has a greenish-yellow head with blue and orange dots or dashes. The rest of the body is yellow with brown bands.
